This is a simple step of how to do a Raven Guard Insignia for those who're interested.

note: for step 1-4, use Citadel Astronomicon Grey

step 1: Draw a line with small circle on top of it.

Then, draw a small diamond at the bottom.

step 2: On the line, draw an upside-down teardrop connecting the circle and the diamond.

Then you'll get this "vase" like shape. step 3: draw two lines close to the diamond, this will be the legs.
Next, put a small notch outwards from the circle for the beak.
step 4: draw the wings, do it slowly and carefully.
Even by doing it slowly, you should be able to finish it in a minute.
You can now see the bird shape already.
step 5: Enough with the foundation. Paint skull white over your bird.
Paint them nice and easy.

step 6: Finally with Chaos Black, put a small oval dot for the eye.

Then carefully draw the lines on the wings and tail.

And there you have it. A Raven Guard Insignia in an instant.

Next is just a matter of Adeptus Battlegrey highlights here and there and a few details.

I finally have time to do my Raven Guard. I hope it captures every essence of Raven Guard colour scheme. It will be a long way to go untill i finish the entire company. Lucky i choose Raven Guard, they are easy to paint.

What a nice battleground. A heaven for any gamer. It was made by Battlefront Min for Flames of War games. Hey FoW player. You guys should come here and try this out. Superb!!

GC's Master Converter is back!!

GC's Master Converter is back!! Look at the army above.. damn cun!! It was done by Su Jhin. The one and only Su Jhin. No wonder he's been gone for so long. It was all for this new army!!

And so i cant help myself but to ask him for a game. Just so that i can take some picture of his army.

Calgar and Shrike lead 20 Assault Terminators!! This here is just 10 Termies that were deployed. The remaining 10 with Calgar and Shrike will infiltrate!!

... and they all have fleet!!

It was fast.. damn too fast. It was only the 1st turn when they reach my line. But the dice god was on my side. The Rhino only suffered a single Weapon Destroyed and a Crew Shaken result.

Next the Rhino tank-shocked 10 termies into fleeing off table (WOHOO!!)

Berserkers is by far the most powerful Close Combat Marines. Only Calgar was left standing when 20 Berserkers led by Kharn and Lord Duko charges them.

And the game ends..

Next is the Dark Eldar. Fast and deadly. Darklances flew everywhere...

.. and were greeted by my Predators. The game ended in a draw (7-7 in killpoints).

Against The God of War

It was raining outside when the forces of Ultramar, led by the God of War, Marneus Calger himself arrived at the ruined city of Seri Kembangan. My Khorne forces has just slaughter the whole town and it is up to the blue marines to stop the rampage of the World Eaters.

Calgar himself led the assault to the centre with his Terminators retinue inside a mighty Land Raider followed by 20 Tactical Marines in Rhinoes and some Assault Squad. On the left flank, Captain Su Kai led 9 bikers trying to attack the World Eaters from the side. But 2 Dread scares them into going the other way instead.

Even the title of The God of War does not scares the followers of Khorne. Led by Kharn and Lord Duko, they went straight ahead to ward the Ultras.

But The Land Raider is too blessed by the false emperor. It survived Meltas and Demolisher cannons and shield The God of War from the fury of the fearless Berserkers for several turns.

Finally the battle reaches it highes peak in old-school close combat carnage. Casualties are high on both side. The God of War proved that we was worthy of the title. He was the sole survivor of the carnage, alone standing in the pool of blood..

.. but his army was destroyed. And he was forced to fall back in his Land Raider.

Result: It was a very close game. but in the end, World Eaters win by 7-6 in killpoints.

Conclusion: Calgar is strong. A worthy opponent for the World Eaters.

He is finally finished.

1st game.. he failed miserably.

2nd game will be tonight vs the Emperor's Finest --> The Ultramarines.

I have the feeling that tonight he will finally master the Bloodfeeder.

7 games, 10 consecutive rolls of 1, 7 deaths is supposed to be enough for him to learn and understand how to manage the bound Daemon inside his weapon.

We'll see.. We'll see..

New playing field

Testing out the newly finished playground and terrain pieces.. and also the new Bloodfeeder Lord.

The battleground was awesome, the Lord failed miserably hahaha!

Khorne Lord with Bloodfeeder, Combi-Meltagun and Sea Dragon Cloak

This guy is fun to build and paint. Easy build with parts from CSM, SM, Nobz and Dark Elves sprues. Currently at 90% finished. He will lead my army in the coming RTT, accompanied by The Betrayer perhaps..

I never had any luck with Bloodfeeder before, and that is the fun factor hahaha..
